Cost: The Gathering attendance fee is US$120 for early-bird registration (before 15^th July 2011) and US$135 thereafter. This covers all conference material, lunches, trips and activities… including refresher courses. Apart from the Thursday cocktail and dinner, participants are responsible for evening meals (a hearty lunch is guaranteed, however).

Location: Morgan’s Harbour Hotel is located in the old capital Port Royal, across the harbour from the current capital city, Kingston. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Norman Manley International Airport, and has a complementary shuttle bus service.

Room rates for the “REIKI” group are:

• US$76.00 a night for single occupancy
• US$109.00 a night for double occupancy

The rate includes hot breakfast and access to hotel facilities. Water-sports may attract additional fees.

I am pleased to formally announce that the Reiki Association of Jamaica is hosting the Annual Regional Gathering from Thursday September 22nd to Sunday September 25th 2011. This will take place at the Morgan’s Habour Hotel, in the historically-rich town of Port Royal conveniently located across the harbour from the capital Kingston and just fifteen minutes drive from Norman Manley International Airport.
The pricing will be as follows: For persons requiring the privacy of their own room US$360. For persons sharing a room (2 to a room) US$240 each. For participants not staying at the hotel US$120. Prices are quoted in US$ for convenience but JA$ equivalent will, of course, be accepted. The package includes all events planned for the duration and airport-hotel transfers and breakfast for hotel-based participants.

Participants who are interested in contributing to the event by way of making presentations are invited to contact any member of the Executive (see Contacts and Links) with ideas to see how these may best be incorporated. We are also open for members who would like to volunteer for the Organising Committee. Further, we are encouraging the “before and after” concept for those interested in integrating courses or classes with the event. These will will be announed as they manifest, the idea being to utilise the great hotel room rate and facilities being offered, which may be extended to incorporate these associated events.

Registration forms and a draft programme format will be circulated within the next four weeks.
