Dear Reiki Friends and Family
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our Reiki sister, Verity Dawson, made her transition on 24 August 2016.
Verity was a stalwart of the Barbados Reiki Association and served multiple times as President, in addition to filling other roles. She was also a Council of Elders member and was a valued member of our Medical Outreach and Holistic Health Fair organizing groups. Whenever there was a Reiki activity happening, you could count on Verity to be a positive and hardworking presence and support, making everyone feel a little brighter and a bit more loved.
We will all miss her greatly.
The Barbados Reiki Association (and I personally) would like to extend our sincere condolences to Verity’s family and friends.
We will keep you informed about arrangements for her funeral once these details are available.
Monthly Meeting
Our next monthly meeting takes place on Thursday, September 1st at 7pm at the Cooperators’ General building in Wildey.
Though there is some business to be done, we would like to devote the bulk of the time to celebrating Verity’s life. We therefore invite you to come prepared to share stories and memories, music, poetry and readings – anything that seems appropriate to celebrate Verity’s beautiful spirit.
We hope to see you there.
